Reformer Pilates

Targeted, supported movement designed around you.

What is Reformer Pilates?

The reformer was originally designed by Joseph Pilates to help strengthen the body through controlled, resistance-based movement. You’ll work against springs while lying, sitting, standing or kneeling on a moving carriage, allowing for a huge range of exercises that build strength, improve posture, and increase flexibility.

We also incorporate additional equipment such as:

  • Jump boards and boxes for varied movement patterns

  • Cadillac for supported strength and mobility work

  • Wunda chair (split pedal) for stability, rehabilitation and control

  • Spine Corrector to support natural spinal alignment

This means your session can be adapted precisely to what your body needs on the day.

If you’ve ever wished for exercise that actually adapts to your body… this is it.

Reformer Pilates uses a specialist piece of equipment designed to support and challenge you at the same time. Using springs, a moving carriage, and adjustable resistance, each session is tailored to your individual needs, whether that’s building strength, improving mobility, or supporting recovery.

At Rebalance Pilates, no two sessions are the same, because no two bodies are the same.

Class format

You can choose between:

  • 1:1 sessions for fully personalised support

  • 2:1 sessions to share with a partner or friend

Both options allow for close guidance, hands-on support, and a session that evolves with you over time.
